they... wanna kill me...??? i really didnt want to but i was already in the fight so im like. whatever. sure man. so i cooked the shit out of them, duh. im curious about what their deal was though... also i had the option to ask if they knew about halsin the healer and i didnt ask which sucks cus i should have done that first also im... starting to catch on to what astarion is. if im assuming correctly. cus earlier he talked about how much he looooves rare ass meat thats "dripping" with blood and that was weird as a random comment but...

anyways. then i meet this dog by his dead owner. befriend him. all good.

but then. i use speak to animals (with wyll) and talk to the dog. and wanting to help i yell at the corpse. because im like. I DUNNO MAN. maybe the dog will realize hes dead. but then HE GETS MAD AT ME AND TURN COMBAT MODE COMES ON. and i tried to go back and reload. i didnt want to but i also did not want to kill him. but the save was so far back. then i tried to run away with astarion but i guess running away works per character. so i thought oh maybe if i return the fight will be over.... and it wasnt....

...anyways. got to the goblin camp. used a wisdom roll to convince the goblins we're good thanks to the brain tadpole. astarion commented on how we could convince anyone to do anything with the tadpoles and he was like mweheheeheh.

but of course i agree with shadowheart. cus shes goated. also id agree with that if it wasnt her either way. (ignore her looking like a swedish twink. i used disguise self and forgot to change her back) oh also we leveled up right before this hell yes

but ya then my friend speves reminded me to go back to that gate in the beginning of the game that was locked. so i went there and unlocked it with astarion. fucked up like twice but hey man its a dc 20 okay. im lucky i had vampirical fuck with me or ida never unlocked it

but yeah i went into the crypt, looted some stuff and killed a couple people. nothing bad happened in the first room and i did not have to reload.

embarrassing as fuck but yeah then i intimidated the guys outside to leave

ok ive watched approximately half of stampede now and i am gonna say my thoughts so far. Firstly. BUGS!!! BUGS BUGS BUGS BUGS WORMS !! ZAZIE!!!!! YES!!!!!! they fixed so many of the things that bugged me about the sandworm and general creature design (we dont talk about the tomas) literally perfect the life cycle is so cool ZAZIE!!!!!!

Also the animation is good i guess.

i feel about how i expected to which is that i like it on its own terms but i find it really annoying as an adaptation. for something supposed to be more faithful to the manga it REALLY isn’t and the pacing is awful, it just frontloads all the lore on you and has none of the breathing room that the manga gives for characters to have meaningful emotions, and none of the long intro of 98 that gets you used to the people and world and introduces the important story beats over a longer period of time.

also it MASSACRED MY BOY(s). here is my rating of design changes so far:

Meryl: i don’t particularly dislike her design on its own but i think it’s a moderate downgrade. i don’t know why they made her look so young in such a specific kind of doll looking way!! why does she have makeup stop that!! 4/10

Vash: again i dont hate his design on its own but COME ON MAN!! i keep saying they twinkified him, i will be clear, vash was already a twink, but now he’s evne more of one. he is also just way less charming and goofy looking. legs not long enough. no belts. no assless chaps. 2/10

Wolfwood: UGH. boring design on its own, terrible redesign. no tits so why’s his shirt open. why is he white. where’d his nose go. i hate his pants and shoes why are his ankles so defenseless. fucking twinkified him i HATE him no wonder every fanartist just subs in regular wolfwood. 0/10

Livio: WAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH ok but again inoffensive design on his own, nothing special but i dont like, hate it. however. just kind of looks like an entirely different guy. hopefully they will bulk him up later but he still just. Looks off you know? dont like him. 1/10.

BTW I see a lot of people talking a lot of stuff about taking T and unwanted masculine traits when you ID as femboy / nonbinary / variants of gnc masc and as one, I do want to also say that some of the things you are worried about before starting T may actually turn out to be things that after having it may turn out to be something you like. Not always is this case for everyone, but I've honestly found myself shocked on how many things I was neutral to / didn't reaaaally want that once I got it I found that I either liked it or loved it.

While you probably wont turn into an anime boy twink or whatever, starting at a low dose and working on being mindful of your changes and how they make you feel can be a good way to see if its right for you or not.

Yes some things can be permanent / hard to reverse if its not a good fit, but most of those happen after a period of time (different for each aspect) and so long as you research and are aware (+ regularly talking to a professional if you can / have one you can trust) you can always stop it part way through.

They twinked a lot of characters because bones decided to animate it differently than they had other mangas at that point. Usually, they were super good with staying on point with the style of the manga like noragami or vanitas or fma but GODDAMN THEY DROPPED THE BALL INTO ACID OR SOMETHING WITH BSD. harukawas style is so fluid and beautiful so maybe it would be harder for them to animate, but the extreme body changing I just hate. Chuuya's job was to bring the brawn and he was expected of that from the time of being with the Sheep, so naturally, when he's in the mafia he's going to keep up his reputation of being THE STRONG DUDE. It's unfair to compare Dazai to him tbh. Also, the pm trains their members, I'm guessing Dazai would go through that because Mori is not going to be willing to lose him from lack of prep. Yes, dazai is smart, but smarts don't get you out of a chokehold T_T.

The current situation is indeed a "some of column A, some of column B" situation (with there being many columns). When discussing this situation, there are things that absolutely need to be considered (including, but not limited to): -The fact whiteness is favored by society at large -The fact that everyone's preferences and kinks are influenced by what they see in media and what they grow up around. -The fact that BIPOC representation in media is rarer, and even when present, isn't always the main character, in the main cast, or done very well. -The fact that BIPOC people are rarer in kink spaces both because of the aforementioned reasons, AND because it's notably less safe for them to exist in those kink spaces. AI is trained off of (stolen) content it scrapes, but because white guys and other specific depictions oversaturate media, both in terms of content of real people and of fictional characters, it's going to be HORRIBLY biased, whether the user is aware of it or not. (and unfortunately, after doing what I do for over a decade now, i do not trust the average kink enjoyer to be self aware enough to know that they are only fapping to white guys!) It's ALWAYS more difficult to find characters of any other ethnicity in both canon and fanon... especially since "whiteness" is so favored by creators and fans alike, regardless of whether or not they are aware of it. (Heck, a lot of people are VERY MUCH attracted to things like, blonde hair, very specifically, which is found predominately on white dudes and is very rare or requires alteration to be found on anyone else. (and people just throwing blonde/white hair onto brown people causes other Discourse that I won't go into atm!)) Very early into my work years (around ~2017), I used to say flippantly on streams and discord that "Haha, everyone mostly pays me to draw basic anime boys and scruffy white dudes". It was hardly a lie, and that has always been, and still is, the case! Now, I don't blame people for being into the White Boy of the Month, or the Blonde Anime Blorbo from their Shows, because we can't help what we're attracted to! However, people need to be VERY aware of the things stated at the beginning of this post, because we CAN help how we go about expressing it. My work catalogue VERY MUCH demonstrates and, I would admit, even exacerbates the problem, but I put a LOT of conscious effort via my OCs and character design choices to try to counteract that. But a bitch needs to eat, so I gotta cater to what people like while I pour out my black and POC OCs and fandom interests (when they do happen to appear, and when i have the scant free time to do so.)

In terms of gainer content, like youtube videos and twitter gainers, you are very much going to have to work harder to find content of BIPOC people. They exist, yes, but they are fewer because it's less safe for us to present ourselves openly (sexually especially), and also because it is THAT much harder for us to gain traction amongst kink spaces people because most people prefer traits found in white people. It's very much a reason a lot of non-white gainers find it frustrating trying to get traction in their spaces, and they WILL notice that the new white twink on the block who gained their first 15 lbs will often get popular VERY quickly. (granted, that encompasses another problem, but I also wont go into that in this post either! THERE ARE SO MANY COLUMNS!) like, if you're on grommr, it's so fucking easy to see using the search that you get 31k hits on white/caucasian people, and if you click EVERY OTHER CATEGORY, you get only 12k!!! thats a HUGE difference!!!

so YEAH, people who talk to me personally know that im all about paying fucking attention to these things. Because like??? the people who DONT are the ones who end up hurting me or other BIPOC with their "brain empty, fap only" approach to kink circles. I need people to be at least a LITTLE aware!

9: Doctor’s Disorders

fellas is it gay to lock yourself in a bathroom stall so fenturd doesnt see the horrible monster youve become, tell him to ‘get away,’ and then pass out before being able to fight him despite being a school jock who could probably deal some damage and has a better immune system than the other kids? is it also gay to then when your entire life revolves around ghosts and having ghost powers to watch a sappy romcom while waiting for phantom to come save you? the answer is yes. 6/10 again it couldve gone harder

8: Frightmare

again dash himself isnt explicitly gay in this episode. but danny why is your ultimate dream scenario being best friends with dash and having him know your secret. it gets a higher rating than the other two bc its literally a wish fulfillment scenario aka 174% more gay. but mathematically speaking 2/10 for baiting me with dash in the first two minutes and then never bringing him back

7: Forever Phantom

“watch it, fentertainment tonight! i’m chasin’ a real somebody!” 10/10

also spending the entire episode devoted to hanging with phantom + another reference to the romance channel. not very nuanced but still very gay

6: Reality Trip

what do you think it means when the school jock finds out your secret, wastes exactly 0 time in helping you, and finds a way to shoehorn in giving you his clothes to wear while doing it. dash was only in this entire movie for like 4 minutes but damn if he wasnt homosexual for all of them 7/10

5: Ultimate Enemy

”but dash wasn’t even IN the ultimate enemy!!11!1!” EXACTLY. if older dash had been in the future with dark dan he simply would have smooched him and then there would have been no conflict. if younger dash had shown up to the big fight then dark dan wouldve broke down sobbing at what couldve been. they had to restrain dash from this entire episode bc of his power. 9/10 i know the truth.

4: Splitting Images

it is important to remember that dash has no goddamn idea that’s sidney. danny literally does 1 (one) nice thing for him and dash decides “ok well i will be his best friend and play football with him and be impressed by his skills and then throw a party and also put my hands on his shoulders several times.” this proves my point that if danny werent a little shit he and dash would already have been dating by the time the show starts. 8/10 for letting dash be mundanely gay instead of knowing anything about ghosts. it doesnt happen very often

3: Attack of the Killer Garage Sale

do you ever just get a tutor who happens to be the exact sister of that nerd you pick on and also call him a twink and then invite him to your party even though you do not have to and specifically tell him the dress code and get him at the popular kids table and then realize he might not have the money for the dress code so you intentionally seek him out to give him money for some computery thing you dont know about but you also also realize that probably isnt enough so last minute you change the entire dress code to something you know he has and wear his exact outfit to make him seem cool by comparison. do you ever do that.

2: Micro Management

he SAVES him. he calls him a hero. they are on EQUAL FOOTING and they KNOW IT. they have MATCHING GODDAMN OUTFITS!!!!!!!!!!! dashs personality doesnt have to be absolutely scrapped for him to be gay (”but i will be wailing on you”) but he clearly DOES get better (”sorry, old habits.”) he puts his heart and soul into fighting side by side w danny and we dont even SEE dashs parents which means that is Not Exactly The Reason he Is Here. he also believes with 0 hesitation that fenton is capable of throwing a total rager. NO there is not as much dash here as in micro management but. i mean look at these screenshots. THIS is gay representation. THESE are some genuine fucking boyfriends. 18/10

The thing I hate the most is when writers keep making Ruggie a sub just because male hyenas are submissive in real life. He is is my favorite character and I just hate to see him portrayed in such a stereotypical way :0

I think ppl just look up hyena and then go with the first article they see and never look more into because hyenas r such complex and wonderful things theres so much to them but it seems the fandom only takes away 1-2 things and its all u see.

One of the things i see often that is wrong is that female hyenas r bigger and stronger than the males when thats not true n fact male and female hyenas have such a small weight/height def between then it doesnt even matter. Female hyenas arent at the top because there bigger or stronger than the males its all because of social status.
